Do you need a Mat under a Pilates Reformer?
In case you have a hardwood floor, it's advisable to place a mat or carpet beneath your Pilates reformer. This precaution prevents potential scratches on the floor during exercises or when relocating the reformer. On the other hand, if your floor is carpeted, using a mat may not be necessary.
In my personal studio with a hardwood floor, I make sure to place a rug underneath the Pilates reformer to prevent any damage.
